Effectiveness of Positive Discipline Parenting Program on Parenting Style, and Child Adaptive Behavior In this study, we examined the impact of Positive Discipline parenting workshops on a diverse group of parents (initial N = 91). Our findings showed that attending these workshops led to significant improvements. Parents reported reduced authoritarian and permissive parenting styles, decreased stress, and increased child academic competence. Furthermore, externalizing-hyperactive behaviors decreased according to parent reports. These results highlight the potential of Positive Discipline programs to positively influence both parenting styles and children's well-being.

Advancing Social Connection as a Public Health Priority in the United States by Holt-Lunstad, J. B. A robust body of scientific evidence indicates that being embedded in high-quality close relationships and feeling socially connected to the people in your life is associated with decreased risk for all-cause mortality as well as a range of disease morbidities. Just as we have come to better understand the factors that contribute to multifaceted public health problems ranging from violence to obesity, we must now consider the micro- (e.g., genetic markers of susceptibility, gene-environment interactions) to macro- (e.g., cultural norms, neighborhood characteristics) level processes through which social relationships influence physical health, as well as the pathways by which we may intervene to reduce risk and improve public health.

The Matrix (1999 movie) This is a story about how a computer hacker can hack more than your IDs and passwords, he can hack the path to spirituality. The movie is l oaded with spiritual connotations and hidden meanings. What if you were unaware that you were dreaming? What if you could not tell the difference between the dream and the real world? The matrix is everywhere you go, but no one can tell you what the matrix actually is. Free your mind from a world of control that is your way inward to meet your true self.

Spirituality and Well-Being: Theory, Science, and theNature Connection by Carol D. Ryff This study explores the relationship between spirituality and eudaimonic well-being, considering whether spirituality is integral to well-being or merely an influencing factor. Drawing on empirical evidence from the MIDUS study, it examines how religion and spirituality relate to well-being. Additionally, it discusses the role of nature in nurturing spirituality and well-being, highlighting the overlooked connection between nature and human flourishing. Exploring concepts from Jungian psychology and indigenous wisdom, the study offers new perspectives on spirituality, well-being, and their interaction with the natural world. The article reexamines concepts from Jungian psychology, such as the soul's longing for poetry, myth, and metaphor, as well as the view of nature as a habitat for the soul in animism. Finally, the author considers indigenous wisdom, emphasizing their perception of spirituality in all things, providing a new perspective on the interplay between spirituality, happiness, and the natural world through the concept of "Two-Eyed Seeing".
